Hi, my name is Jaden Knighton! I am a student at Biola University getting a BM in Music Composition. Based in LA and Seattle, I write music for all sorts of media, including Film, TV, and video games.
Ever since I was a child, I have been drawn to writing my own music. When my parents put me in piano lessons I would spend all my practice time playing around on the piano, writing my own melodies and themes, and very rarely did I ever get around to learning the music I was supposed to. As I grew older I was introduced to Logic X Pro and my passion for composing grew rapidly. With countless instruments and sounds at my fingertips, my passion and skill for composing began to take shape.
Through high school, I started to combine my love for stories with my love of music. I began to compose for specific types of media and decided to get a Music Composition degree from Biola University. Through my time at Biola, I have acquainted myself with various artists and filmmakers and worked on over 20 short films. With some of them being entered into prestigious film festivals such as Newport Beach Film Festival.
